Help Our Baseball & Softball Players Shine!

City Electric along with WEEI
Sports Radio,
Sullivan & McLaughlin Companies and Reflex Lighting Group are
conducting the
Field of Dreams IV Sweepstakes.
The winning town will be awarded a four pole lighting system to
light up a baseball / softball fields used for children 12 years
of age and under. This is a
great opportunity for the members of AYBS and the
town of Ashland.
Although
we have completed the installation with the lights that were
donated by Reflex Lighting on the Majors Baseball Field at
Gryncel having a second field with lights in town would be a
great benefit. This would allow us to extend the playing time,
possibly getting two games in a night on both fields and would
allow for additional practice time for the players.
In order
to qualify for the drawing the
town of Ashland needs to submit 1500
electronic votes.
Here are
a few key points.
1. The voting
period is from Tuesday, August 12 -
Friday,
September 12 2008.
2. Anyone
with an e-mail address can cast a
single vote.
3. The website is
www.granitecityelectric.com Click on the Field of
Dreams IV icon. On the right hand side under Special Promotions
4. All participating towns will be
listed along with their submission and field photos.
5. At the bottom of the page it will ask you to click here
to cast your vote or possibly vote here for your town today.
6. You will then click the town of
Ashland, MA.
7. The voting mechanism will send a notification to your
email address.
8. You will
then have to validate your vote by clicking on a link in
the email that was sent to you..
9. The vote
will be accounted for in the system when the email address has
been confirmed.
10. Once our
town has accumulated 1500 votes we will then be entered into the
Field of Dreams IV Sweepstakes
raffle.
